Travelled around the world for nearly 5 years in the 1990’s meeting Mother Theresa and the Dalai Lama along the way and only decided to head home after being held up at gunpoint in Cambodia! Been a vegetarian for 34 years. Got an Honours Degree in Applied Chemistry but have never used it.

In the Dominican Republic, experienced an earthquake that was 5 on the Richter scale while standing on the balcony of the shaking hotel building.
